Why are there multiple balances? and which do I choose?

GoCardless (our banking provider) returns multiple balances for each account, some examples are:

  • Multiple held balances in different currencies for multi-currency accounts (like PayPal)

  • Amount spent and Amount available to spend for credit cards.

Lunch Flow can’t always automatically determine which balance to use, so if you find you’re getting the incorrect balance, you can always configure which balance to use for syncing in the account configuration.
