Multi Currency Accounts are accounts that support holding money in multiple currencies. Some institutions treat each currency as its own account (like Wise), while others represent them as a single account with multiple currencies (like Stripe and Paypal).

Currently, Lunch Money support a single currency per account, so if you’re using Stripe or Paypal, and try to create a new account in Lunch Money from Lunch Flow, you’d run into the following error:

currency is invalid: xxx

This is because Lunch Flow can’t automatically determine the currency it should create the account in.

We recommend creating an account in Lunch Money with the desired currency, then linking to that account from Lunch Flow. You can always choose the desired balance for each account on the balances tab in the account configuration page.
