What is Lunch Money?

Lunch Money is an app for "delightfully simple personal finance & budgeting". It's the very first app we supported when we started Lunch Flow (hence the name), and I, Amr, have been using it for years to manage my finances in multiple currencies.

How to Set Up?

Prerequisites

  • An active Lunch Money account

  • At least one bank connected in Lunch Flow

Step 1: Get your Lunch Money API token

  1. Log in to Lunch Money

  2. Go to Settings β†’ Developers

  3. Generate a new API access token

  4. Copy the API access token

Step 2: Add Lunch Money as a destination in Lunch Flow

  1. Go to the Destinations page in Lunch Flow

  2. Click "Add Destination"

  3. Select "Lunch Money"

  4. Paste your API access token

  5. Click "Connect"

Step 3: Configure account sync

  1. Select accounts: Choose which bank accounts to sync

  2. Match accounts: Map Lunch Flow accounts to existing Lunch Money accounts (or create new ones)

  3. Set preferences: Choose sync options

  4. Click "Save"
