What is Sure?

Sure is a community-maintained open-source personal finance application. It's a fork of the now-abandoned Maybe Finance project, which you can self-host to manage your personal finances privately.

FAQ

How often does data sync?

Sure fetches data from Lunch Flow based on its configured sync schedule. You can also manually trigger a sync at any time from Sure's interface.

Does my Sure instance need to be public?

No! With the new integration, Sure pulls data from Lunch Flow's API. Your Sure instance only needs outbound internet access to connect to Lunch Flowโ€”it doesn't need to be publicly accessible.

I have an existing Sure destination with the old setup. What should I do?

Your existing setup will continue to work. However, we recommend migrating to the new integration for a simpler, more reliable experience:

  1. Create a new Sure destination in Lunch Flow (this generates an API key)

  2. Configure Sure's Lunch Flow provider with the API key

  3. Once working, you can remove the old destination
