When to Renew
You may need to renew your connection if:
Your connection has expired (expiry period varies by provider)
You're experiencing sync errors
Your connection status shows as inactive
For GoCardless connections (UK & EU): We'll send reminder emails before your connection expires so you can renew proactively.
How to Renew a Connection
Go to the Connections page
Click the Reconnect button on the connection you want to renew
Follow the prompts to reconnect (similar to the initial setup)
You'll be redirected back to Lunch Flow
What happens next:
Auto-mapping successful: Your connection status will show as "Active" again with all configurations preserved
Manual mapping needed: You'll see a screen to manually map accounts from the new connection to your existing ones
Why Renew Instead of Deleting?
If you delete and recreate a connection, you'll lose:
All account configurations
Destination mappings
Custom settings
The renewal flow preserves these configurations by mapping accounts from your new connection to the old ones.
